The year 2015 has witnessed more engagements between the University Library Services and its staff and students patrons. The library of the School of Preliminary Studies (SPS) has been catering for the needs of not only the students of the School, but also undergraduate students, due to reasons of proximity to their hostels and sustained electric power supply. The situation has resulted in silent synergy between the two categories of students users in collaborative studies in the corridors of the library in the evenings, while the modest print collection of the library has proved useful and usable to even the undergraduate students of especially levels One Hundred and Two Hundred. Likewise, academic staff has been more engaged in the selection of information resources and even the donation of some of such resources in print and electronic formats. Visitations to the Temporary Library at the permanent site of the University by individuals and organizations who are not members of the University Community have also increased during the year. Utilization of capacity building opportunities by staff of the University Library Services, as can be discerned from the contents of this report has also increased.
