BSc Software Engineering

A CCMAS-aligned degree covering software process, quality assurance, web and mobile development, systems architecture, and professional practice — with laboratory work, SIWES placements, and a final-year project.

Entry pathways & handbook

The curriculum adheres to NUC CCMAS and integrates university-wide GST courses with faculty core courses, SIWES industrial training, and a final-year project.

  • JAMB UTME — five O'Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, and Physics (or equivalent science subject)
  • Direct Entry — A'Level, NCE, ND, or HND in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Transfer or special admission subject to Senate approval

Academic policies

  • Students must pass all core (C), faculty, and GST courses and complete both SIWES placements.
  • Minimum graduation load: 120 credit units (UTME) or 90 credit units (Direct Entry), with CGPA ≥ 1.00.
  • Course registration is completed online each semester via the student portal.
