Looking ahead
A landmark year — and a platform for the future
2025 was a breakthrough accreditation year — Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Information Technology all achieved full NUC status. Combined with 94 Computer Science graduates, 20 publications, intensive laboratory training, and a heartfelt send-forth for Dr. Bashir Baba, FCIT reaffirmed its place as a rising centre of computing excellence.
With all four undergraduate programmes fully accredited and postgraduate offerings established, FCIT is positioned to expand into AI, Information Systems, Telecoms, and Informatics & Data Science in the years ahead.
